Mneurix · Strategy ("we", "this site") is a static blog. We aim to collect as little as possible. This policy explains the one third-party service we use — Google AdSense — and the choices you have about it.

Advertising and cookies

To support the site, some pages display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense is a third-party ad vendor and a subsidiary of Google. It uses cookies (small text files stored on your device) and, in some regions, device identifiers and information about your activity on this and other sites, to serve ads based on your interests.

• Google's cookies. When ads load, Google may set cookies such as __gads and the DoubleClick cookie (IDE in some regions) to measure and personalise ad delivery. You can see and manage the categories of cookies Google uses at Google's advertising cookies page.
• Your consent. We do not load the AdSense script until you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. If you reject, the site stays ad-free and Google's ad cookies are not set. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under the key mneurix-consent.
• Third-party vendors. Google and its partners may use information they collect through ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

How to opt out

• Your browser's settings let you block or delete cookies, or send a "Do Not Track" signal. Blocking ad cookies does not remove the site's content.
• To withdraw consent later on this site, clear the mneurix-consent entry from your browser's local storage for this domain and reload.

What we don't do

This site is statically generated. It has no server-side analytics, no account system, no contact form, and no backend that stores your personal data. We do not sell or share your information, beyond what Google AdSense requires to serve ads after you have consented. Comments (Giscus, when configured) are handled by GitHub and are subject to GitHub's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

This site does not target children under 13, and AdSense is configured to serve non-personalised ads where required. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we add or change the services we use, we will update this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
